Red Rutilated Quartz Red Rutilated Quartz is thought to remove fear, anxiety, self-constrictions and helps facilitate transition and provides solutions to current problems. Emotionally, Red Rutilated Quartz soothes dark moods and acts as an anti-depressant.

Rutilated Quartz is naturally occurring. The name ‘rutile’, as it is derived from the Latin Rutilus, a reddish-brown to black mineral that consists of titanium dioxide usually with a little iron and has a brilliant metallic or adamantine luster.

The higher the iron oxide content, the more red the strands of rutile will appear.
