This piece began as a hand-forged pure copper band, which was then submerged in a 24-hour charged bath. Through the slow magic of electroforming, layers of copper have “grown” over the stones, creating a thick, metallic armor that fuses the crystals to the band forever. The heavy, dark patina highlights the “unearthed” texture, making it feel like a relic found in an ancient forge.

A Note on the Sacred Armor (Fit & Care) Unlike traditional thin-wire bracelets, this cuff is not adjustable. The electroforming process creates a rigid, hardened structure that cannot be bent or reshaped without damaging the copper “skin” and the stones. It is a permanent monument for your wrist.

The Electroforming Process: Each piece is created using electroforming – an intricate process of controlling an electrically charged bath to slowly deposit thin layers of pure copper onto a conductive surface. Deposited layer upon layer over 12 to 24 hours (with the total artisan process spanning several days!), this technique creates a durable, uniquely textured metal sculpture around each stone.

Copper Characteristics:
Copper is a pure elemental metal, CU on the periodic table. Like sterling silver, copper naturally oxidizes and darkens when exposed to air, sunlight, humidity, cosmetics, or lotions. Oxidation happens even more quickly in the presence of sunlight, sweat, chlorine (swimming pools), chemicals and cosmetics.

Daily Wear Tip: To preserve your piece’s finish, remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising, or applying lotions and perfumes. Keep your jewelry clean and dry.
If you prefer the “aged” look that oxidation naturally gives copper, we recommend cleaning your jewelry with a bit of mild dish soap in warm water. You can use a soft bristle brush when necessary.

For a Bright/Polished Look: Polish gently with a soft jewelry polishing cloth. *(Note: Avoid harsh chemical dips or vinegar solutions on pieces with delicate gemstones or hand-applied patinas).

Natural Skin Patina & Reaction: Much like copper roofs developing a green patina when exposed to environmental elements, pure copper can occasionally leave a harmless green mark on the skin when reacting with natural skin moisture, oils, or humidity. This surface mark is completely safe, natural, and easily washes off with soap and water.
